Women Leaders in Public Safety Series - In the 21st Century workplace, task assessment and completion will require the manager to delegate projects into his/her work groups in order to achieve the ever-increasing workloads. Due to the severe talent drought presently experienced throughout the corporate environment, multi-tasking is an ongoing event, particularly in state and county public service. The ability to delegate work with specific teams while remaining within the chain of command, will result in a more focused atmosphere and structured result.
