This is a 2-day Emergency Vehicle Response refresher training. The student will receive instruction and refresher on: skid control, braking techniques, precision driving (cone courses), vehicle dynamics, accident avoidance and emergency pursuit operations. This course is for certified police officers only!

Users: All users of the Driver Training Facility must have a valid users agreement in force prior to registration. For additional information or confirmation of the user agreement status, contact Driver Training (410) 549-5732 Option #1.
Deadlines: All registrations have a closing date of 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the course starting date. Any cancellations after the closing date may result in the forfeiture of the registration fee.
Agencies holding a seat with a to-be-determined student will need to enter the information one month prior to the course start date. If student information is not entered by this time, the hold will be automatically removed from the roster.
LGIT Members: For client agencies that are Local Government Insurance Trust members (LGIT), the agency training coordinator is required to register through MDLE. Please note LGIT in parentheses after the last name of the student [Example: John Doe (LGIT)]. The request will only be confirmed when the LGIT Coordinator verifies the participants authorization under LGIT. Client Agencies are Maryland certified agencies under the regulated authority of the Maryland Police and Corrections Training Commissions (MPCTC).
Non-Client Agency Seats: Applicants from any non-client agencies will be admitted to the class if there are vacant seats remaining approximately one month prior to the course start date. Interested persons can email a signed registration form to [email protected] to be added to the non-client waitlist. All forms must have an approving signature in order to register the student. This can be an agency head, supervisor, or training coordinator – someone to authorize the student to take this course. If a seat is offered, the agency will have to submit a credit card form before being confirmed for the program. MD Police & Correctional Training Commissions accepts Visa or MasterCard (Credit Card Form); additional information is provided on the form. All users of the Driver Training Facility must have a valid users agreement in force prior to registration.
